About Case



Case was founded in 1985 by parents/carers of people with learning disability, is today an accredited Training Organisation providing meaningful, effective training and work experience opportunities. Trainees develop vocational and other skills at their own pace with the aim of improving quality of life and enhancing future prospects. The Training Centre consists of seven departments.
Woodwork Training

Woodwork Manufacturing
Trainees manufacture a wide range of wooden products. they also undertake many special projects supplying their goods, joinery skills and services to local community-based organisations

Soft Craft
Make a variety of products which include cushions, aprons, fabric picture frames, Christmas stockings, dream catchers and cross stitch samplers.

Printing
The recycling of greetings cards and the use of type settings to print invitations and business cards are some of the tasks undertaken by trainees. Some of these are sold in our Hesle Road Charity shop and at craft fairs

Catering
Meals and refreshments are prepared and served by trainees on a daily basis, catering for all members of the organisation. We also cater for outside buffets at very competitive rates

I.T
A wide range of IT skils are developed in our new Computer Suite, then put into practice by trainees who produce their own magazine and the monthly CASE newsletter.
